A Problem Too Big to Ignore
In 2008, Robert Chamberlain, a former Canadian Forces logistics officer, stood in a Yellowknife airport watching $12 million in gold doré being loaded onto a commercial flight in cardboard boxes. After two tours managing high-value military supply chains, he knew the gap between the value of what was being moved and how it was being moved was unacceptable.
Within six months, he had secured three armored vehicles, recruited eleven former military and RCMP colleagues, and signed his first contract with a Yukon gold mining operation. Royal Canadian Logistics Security Company was born.
From those three vehicles, we have grown into Canada's leading mineral logistics provider — 250+ professionals across 12 facilities serving 120+ mining operations, gold refineries, government mints, and financial institutions. In 18 years, we have transported over $50 billion in precious minerals with zero losses.
"We don't just move cargo. We move wealth, livelihoods, and the building blocks of the global economy. That responsibility shapes everything we do."
